The Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction (CCSA) Issues of Substance 2019 conference will focus on the importance of relying on research and real-world experience to identify sustainable solutions to mental health and addiction. Conference participants will share new research and best practices, and receive practical training related to substance use and addiction, prevention, treatment and recovery. The three-day event will take place November 25–27, 2019, at the Westin Ottawa Hotel and is part of Canada’s National Addictions Awareness Week. The Mental Health Commission of Canada is a national partner for the meeting.
