PAB special edition focuses on translational researchOne of the greatest challenges in addiction research is the translation of research findings to practical clinical use. To that end, the Psychology of Addictive Behaviors journal recently published a special issue devoted to NIH-funded research aimed at integrating brain science and addiction treatment research. The authors address a range of addictive behaviors, such as alcohol, cigarettes, marijuana, cocaine, and pathological gaming. The articles were organized and co-edited by NIDA and NIAAA grantees Sarah Feldstein Ewing (University of New Mexico) and Tammy Chung (University of Pittsburgh).
